School Supporters

Our supporters contribute to the variety of programmes that we implement at Paparoa School.

Paparoa Primary is looking for local businesses to support the school with sponsorship.

Without people offering their time and donations, we could not provide all we do for our students and the local community.

In return we offer advertising opportunities and all the benefits of community partnership.

If you are a local business and would be interested in hearing more about this, please contact the school office for more information.

MT FARMS

The MT Farms Pahi story and team MT Farms Pahi is a business built on oyster farming. Our oysters are caught and grown on our farms in the Arapaoa River, part of the Kaipara Harbour on Northland’s west coast. Our factory and depot are on the edge of Pahi village and we launch our barges at Pahi wharf for the 20 minute trip to the farm. We process our own oysters in our Pahi factory and sell them to fish shops around Northland, Auckland and the rest of the North Island. MT Farms Pahi is very much a family business. Thane & Marlene Colquhoun began oyster farming at Pahi more than 25 years ago and built up a successful business (the T and M of MT Farms). We are now into our second generation with Moana, Ngaire and Jesse (and their partners) working in the business. We are proud to support Paparoa School, as most of the Colquhoun grandchildren are, or will be, akonga there. As of 2023, there are four cousins from three families, with more coming over the next few years!
