Nau mai, haere mai. Welcome. 

At the heart of the Paparoa Community, we at Paparoa School are known for our whanaungatanga, our strong sense of belonging which provides a warm, welcoming family friendly, inclusive environment.  Our modern, rural school is surrounded by paddocks, a bike track, our own orchard and garden as well as having local access to the community hall, walkways and a mountain bike track.

Our little U1 school offers a mix of technology alongside a healthy rural school curriculum with currently two small class sizes.  This enables students to receive more 1:1 time with the teacher, individualised programmes and personalised authentic learning opportunities.  Aiming high, we believe in ‘panekiretanga, striving for the highest standards, achieving our goals, while supporting our tamariki to be challenged and enriched.  We focus on quality rather than quantity!
